M83 - Midnight City
On the first hour of the first day of my first ever Coachella, I crawled into the first tent I could find and serendipitously discovered M83. If the first thing you hear from a band is a live rendition of something as overwhelmingly powerful as ‘Dont Save Us From The Flames’ - it tends to make an impression.
A few months after its release, I’m convinced this is their best song yet. Is it a faux pas to discuss the legacy of bands who are still at the top of their game?
